Tucked away in a nondescript alleyway in Phnom Penh, stands a small poverty stricken community on the verge of eviction. While the lack of basic water sanitation and flimsy housing was evident, I also witnessed the hospitality, beauty and joy of it's residents. The first time I visited this community I was hit hard by the level of injustice- how could these simple beautiful souls, live in such lack? I questioned my own faith, I wondered if God was real, why them? As  I spent more time with this community I came to realise that while I may be materially wealthy, the community too, possessed a wealth that cannot be bought- of joy and a security of being loved and known by their community.
